Competition for Miss Longview, Miss
Teen Longview
and Miss
Teen
Lake o' the Pines was held on
Sunday, December 9, 2007 at
Spring Hill High School in Longview, Texas. At the
conclusion of the pageant, Rebecca Robinson was
selected as Miss Longview 2008; Morgan
Berger was
selected Miss Teen Longview and
Morgan Fuller was selected Miss Teen Lake o' the Pines.
All three will
represent Longview and the Lake o' the Pines at the state competitions in Fort Worth in July.
Rebecca is a
graduate of Texas A&M University. Her platform is Viva Texas!
Building Bridges through Bilingual Education. She performed a tap dance to
Chopsticks, and was the Talent winner in the Miss division. Miss
Robinson was also the Interview winner in the Miss division.
Morgan Berger
attends Lufkin High School. Her platform is
3 D's: Decisions Determine
Destiny. She danced to Money, and was the
Lifestyle and Fitness in Aerobic Wear winner
in the Teen division.
Morgan Fuller
attends Fairfield High School. Her platform is
Character
Education: I Can, You Can, We Can Have Good Character. She performed Cajun
Fiddle/Orange Blossom Special on the violin, and was the Talent winner
in the Teen division. Miss Fuller was also the
Interview winner in the Teen division.
1st Runner-up to Miss Longview was
Cristie Kibler, who was
also the winner of the Lifestyle and Fitness in Swim Wear award. 2nd Runner-up was
Sheena Simmons. 3rd Runner-up was
Julie Lightfoot. Chelsea Liles
received the Director's Award. Robbie Burns received the Spirit Award.
1st Runner-up to Miss
Teen Longview Dani Ostrowski. 2nd
Runner-up was
Jessica Sauer. 3rd Runner-up was Heather Boone.
1st Runner-up to Miss
Teen Lake o' the Pines was
Ryley Cormack. 2nd
Runner-up was Allie Jordan.
